It is stated by the Standing Counsel that an application for discharge of contempt notice alongwith a short counter affidavit has been filed in the Registry much earlier. In the affidavit it has been indicated that petitioner did not bring correct facts to the notice of the Court while filing the writ petition and suppressed material facts. As counter affidavit is not on record, Registry is directed to trace and place the same on record.
List after two weeks. Petitioner may file reply in the meantime.
