Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
The grievance of the petitioners in the matter of issuance of caste certificate with reference to the judgment of Division Bench of this Court in the Case of Baldev Singh Vs. Tehsildar, Bilaspur and others reported in Journal Revenue Decisions 2000 (91) 628 needs to be examined by the respondent no.2-District Magistrate at the first instance.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to file a representation for ventilating their grievances before respondent no.2-District Magistrate within two weeks along with a certified copy of this order. If such representation is filed, respondent no.2 shall consider the same by means of a reasoned order preferably within eights weeks thereafter. All consequential actions shall be taken accordingly.
