Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
This writ petition has been preferred against the order dated 25.5.2015 passed by the respondent no.3-Tehsildar, whereby issuance of the caste certificate to the petitioner has been refused.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the considered opinion that the petitioner may approach the District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee of which District Magistrate is the Chairman at the first instance.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation for ventilating his grievances before respondent no.2 within two weeks along with a certified copy of this order. If such representation is filed, respondent no.2 (District Magistrate) shall consider the same by means of a reasoned order preferably within eight weeks thereafter. All consequential actions shall be taken accordingly.
