Sri Mahesh Chandra, Counsel for the Corporation states that the petitioners and similarly situated persons were appointed over and above the sanctioned strength. However, he admitted that the judgment rendered by the Single Judge has been affirmed in Special Appeal but those persons have yet not been given any benefit.
As prayed, two weeks' time is allowed to bring on record the correct factual position and steps having been taken after the judgment in Special Appeal.
