Heard learned counsel for the parties.
It is the case of the petitioner that neither any knife nor other instruments has been recovered from the accused-petitioner nor he has been arrested along with animals in question. It is stated that the First Information Report has only been lodged by the police because the petitioner had refused to give evidence on the asking of the police in a different case.
We have gone to the FIR. It discloses the cognizable offence. No case for quashing of the First Information Report is made out. The prayer in that regard is rejected.
Writ petition is dismissed.
