The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing the consolidation authorities to complete the demarcation of the confirmed chaks and delivery of possession over it to the petitioners.
It has been stated that the chaks were confirmed on 20.3.2011.Therafter, the District Deputy Director of Consolidation directed the Settlement Officer, Consolidation on 9.12.2012 to demarcate the chak and deliver possession but demarcation and delivery of possession has not been made, put up as fresh on 8th July 2015.
Learned Standing Counsel shall obtain instructions as to why the demarcation of chak and delivery of possession has not been made over confirmed chak. In case there is no interim order from any higher court, then Settlement Officer, Consolidation shall ensure demarcation and delivery of possession before 30.6.2015 Order Date :- 29.5.2015 Ashish Pd.
