Heard Sri R.A. Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner is challenging the penalty order dated 16.12.2013 and appellate order dated 4.5.2014.
A preliminary objection has been raised by Sri Sunil Kumar Mishra, learned counsel appearing for respondents no. 2, 3 and 4 that the petitioner has an alternative remedy by way of departmental revision under Rule 69-A of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Employees Services Regulation 1981.
The writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
It is however, provided that in case the petitioner prefers his revision within 15 days from today before the revisional authority, the said authority shall decide the revision on merit.
