The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to reconsider and recompute the length of service rendered by him in the Nagar Palika Parishad, Thakurdwara, District Moradabad for the purposes of computation of his pension.
Heard Sri Vivek Saran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Tarun Agrawal, learned counsel for respondent no.2 and Sri B.K. Yadav, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents no.1 and 3.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner preferred representations before the respondent no.1 and 2 on 1.9.2014 and on 13.2.2015, copy of which have been filed as annexures-7 and 8 to the writ petition.
I am of the view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping this matter pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with consent of learned counsel for the parties and with direction to the respondent no.1, Principal Secretary, Nagar Vikas Vibhag, Lucknow to consider and decide the representations dated 1.9.2014 and 13.2.2015 (Annexures 7 and 8 to the writ petition) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petitioner will also provide copy of the representations dated 1.9.2014 and 13.2.2015.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
