The plaintiff-petitioner filed a suit, which has remained pending since the year 2008. It is stated that the court concerned is routinely granting adjournment in the matter, in teeth of the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure. A prayer has been made to direct the court concerned to expedite the proceedings. The submission is that the plaintiff is a senior citizen and he is suffering irreparable injury.
Considering the above, this petition stands disposed of, directing the court concerned to expedite the proceedings of Civil Suit No.357 of 2008 and conclude the same, in accordance with law, by fixing short dates, without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
