The suit has remained pending since the year 2002. It is stated that the Court concerned is routinely granting adjournment in the matter, in teeth of the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure. A prayer has been made to direct the court concerned to expedite the proceedings.
Considering the above, this petition stands disposed of, directing court concerned to expedite the proceedings of Original Suit No. 1298 of 2002 and conclude the same, in accordance with law, at the earliest possible, by fixing short dates, without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
