Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.
Against the provisional assessment order the petitioner has a remedy of filing an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
The writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
In the event the appeal is filed within four weeks from today, the same shall be entertained by the appellate authority without going into the question of limitation.
