(Order on Civil Misc.Modification Application No. 207327 of 2015) Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
By means of this application the applicant has sought for modification of the order dated 8.5.2014 by which a direction was issued to the Labour Court to decide Adjudication Case No. 60 of 2006 without unnecessary delay.
It is submitted that the matter is pending at the evidence stage. The workman has already concluded his evidence and as such, there is no reason for delay in deciding the said adjudication case.
The application is, accordingly, allowed. The order dated 8.5.2014 is modified to the extent that from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before the court below, the court below will make all endeavour to decide the same within a period of six months.
