Heard Sri K.R. Sirohi, learned Senior Counsel appearing in support of this petition, learned Standing Counsel as well as Sri Mahesh Narain Singh who has appeared for the respondent No. 3.
Sri Singh, learned Senior Counsel has contended that the Asamai Lease granted to the petitioner in 1967 would not stand eclipsed or curtailed by virtue of the amended provisions of Section 176A which came into force pursuant to a notification on 1.11.1975.
Matter requires consideration.
Issue notice to respondents 4, 5 and 6 returnable within six weeks.
All the noticed respondents shall file their replies on this petition within the above period.
Post this matter on the expiry of the six weeks before the appropriate Court.
In the meanwhile, status quo as on date in respect of the area in question shall be maintained.
