On the matter being taken up in the revised list, no one appears for the applicant.
Heard learned AGA for the State and perused the record.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. was taken up by this Court on 15.01.2009 whereupon the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre with the condition that the applicant shall deposit Rs.7,000/- with the Mediation Centre but report placed on record by the office shows that the aforesaid order dated 15.01.2009 has not been complied with.
In view of the above, it is obvious that the applicant is not interested either in pursuing his legal remedy or settling matrimonial dispute. No good ground for interference is made out. Therefore, prayer for quashing of Charge Sheet No.346 of 2007 dated 22.09.2007 submitted in Case Crime No.2542 of 2007 under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Kotwali Lalitpur, District Lalitpur, pending before Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lalitpur, is refused.
Accordingly, the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is dismissed.
Interim order, if any, stand vacated.
