The grievance raised in this writ petition is that pursuant to an order dated 9.1.2014 provides for promotion of the Constable to the post of Head Constable who were appointed between 1970 and 1981 and representations were invited whose names have been missed out in the list. Since all the petitioners' name figured in the list, there was no occasion for them to represent. However, it is submitted that on 19.2.2014 a promotion list has been published in which the petitioners' name do not figure in.
Learned Standing Counsel prays for and is allowed one month time to file counter affidavit.
