Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned A.G.A.
From the persual of the record it appears that from the possession of the applicant 5.900 Gram Charas has been recovered. Recovery of the Charas is above the commercial quantity. There is no good ground to release the applicant on bail. The prayer for bail is refused.
However, considering the period of detention, it is directed that proceedings of the trial pending against the applicant shall be expedited without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the side.
Accordingly this application is disposed of.
