Meanwhile, the effect and operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 3.4.2012 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Additional District Judge (Ex-Cadre) Court No. 1, Orai at Jalaun in M.A.C.P. No. 52 of 2008, Waseem Haq Vs. Atendra Kumar Sahu shall remain stayed provided the appellant deposits 50% of the amount awarded by the Tribunal within two months. Out of the total amount deposited, 50% only shall be paid to the claimants and the balance amount shall be kept in a Nationalized bank yielding maximum interest. Any amount already deposited shall be given adjustment. The Registry is directed to remit the statutory amount to the concerned Tribunal within four weeks.
