By means of this writ petition the petitioner is seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to appoint some other secretary for the respondent no. 5, namely, Sanjay Nagar Sahkari Awas Samiti Ltd., Bareilly, of which the petitioner claims to be a member.It is not in dispute that the respondent-Society is a private housing society.
The writ petition is not maintainable against a private party and is dismissed.
