Sri Surya Prakash, holding brief of Sri S.P. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 11.08.2011 passed in writ petition No. 5064 (S/S) of 2011, this Court has given a direction to the opposite party to make the payment and release the petitioner's post retiral dues by deciding the representation of the petitioner.
The learned counsel further submits that the certified copy of the order along with the representation was given to the opposite party on 30.08.2011, but till date no decision has been taken.
In view of above, the opposite party is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner as per direction given by this Court within a period of two weeks, failing which, he will have to appear in person before this Court on the next date of listing to explain as to why the contempt proceedings may not be initiated against him.
In the meantime, learned standing Counsel will also seek instruction in the matter.
In addition, learned counsel for the petitioner shall also inform the opposite party about this order, in writing, within a period of one week.
