Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner applied for the post of Constable in the year 2009 in which he was declared successful in physical test. For the physical test of Constable 168 Cm. height is prescribed. Now the petitioner appeared in the examination of Sub-Inspector. In the physical test, he has been declared unfit on the ground that his height is less than 168 Cm. According to the respondents, the height of the petitioner is 167.1 Cm.
The contention of the petitioner is that in the examination of Constable, he was physically found fit and his height was found 168 Cm. The determination of the height at 167.1 Cm. is not justified. He requested for re-physical test.
Learned Standing Counsel is directed to seek instruction in the matter.
