Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, we proceed to decide the writ petition finally at the admission stage.
The grievance of the petitioners is that inspite of registration under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, they have not been allocated work under the said scheme.
Accordingly, we give liberty to the petitioners to represent their cause before the Chief Development Officer, Bahraich, who shall look into the matter and ensure that the benefit under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, is provided to the petitioners and wages is paid to them.
Let a decision be taken by the Chief Development Officer, Bahraich, with regard to grant of benefit under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme to the petitioners, expeditiously say preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of the present order and the decision so taken, shall be communicated to the petitioners.
Subject to above, the writ petition is disposed of finally.
