The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed on telegram, sent by Baba Bantharawale with the allegation that his pupil Awatar Singh was kidnapped by some miscreants on 10.02.2009 at about 9.05 p.m. and demanding Rs. 500,000/- for his safe life. According to the counter affidavit, filed by Shyam Sundar Dixit, S.I. of P.S. Palia, District Kheri, stated that the petitioner Avtar Singh is residing safely at his residence of Gurudwara Nanak Sagar, P.S. Palia, District-Kheri. Hence the present habeas corpus petition is not maintainable and is accordingly dismissed.
