Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that under the Government Order dated 12.7.2006 the power is vested with the District Magistrate only to give the charge of Secretary, Gram Panchayat to any one. The District Panchayat Raj Officer, Ghazipur has exclusive power to give the charge of Secretary, Gram Panchayat to any one. By the impugned order the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Ghazipur has given the charge of Secretary, Gram Panchayat, Rasulpur to Sri Sarvajit Kumar after taking the charge from the petitioner.
Learned Standing Counsel prays that some time may be allowed to seek instruction in the matter.
