Petitioners' case in the writ petition is that both the petitioners are major and they have performed their Nikah on 3rd March, 2011. It is submitted that the petitioner No. 2 was a Hindu who got converted into Islam. Further, allegation is that without there being a First Information Report, they are being harassed by the police personnels.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1 shall deposit an amount of Rs.50,000.00 in Fixed Deposit Receipt in the name of petitioner No. 2 in a nationalised Bank for the period of 5 years and file a receipt on the next date.

List after four weeks.

In case no First Information has been lodged against the petitioners, no coercive action shall be taken against them.
