Learned standing counsel has taken instructions in the matter, and informs the Court that all the five petitioners were transporting minor minerals in tractors which did not bear the registration numbers. They indulged in beating the Government employees, who are involved in checking the movement of the minor minerals. An FIR has been lodged against the petitioners, who had run away from the spot after leaving away the trucks.
Let a detailed counter affidavit be filed by the learned standing counsel annexing copy of the FIR.
