HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD ?Court No. - 3 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 15104 of 2011 Petitioner :- Sahib Singh Yadav Respondent :- State Of U.P. And Others Petitioner Counsel :- Mohammad Ayub Respondent Counsel :- C.S.C.,Rajesh Tripathi Hon'ble Amitava Lala,J.
Hon'ble Ashok Srivastava,J.
Petitioner's grievance is that he is being harassed by the respondents in pursuance to wrong billing of the electricity dues.
We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ajay Singh, learned counsel for respondent no. 3 and learned Standing Counsel.
We are of the view that the law is very clear to that extent. In case, excessive billing is there the petitioner is entitled to raise his object and if it is done, the authority concerned is entitled to consider the same in accordance with law and to pass an appropriate order. This Court has nothing to do with regard to such evasive allegations for taking coercive action for excessive wrong billing.
Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed, however, without imposing any cost.
In any event passing of this order will in no way affect the right of the petitioner, if within appropriate time he makes an application challenging the bill before the appropriate authority.
