The revisionist is wife of the respondent. The respondent filed a suit for divorce under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act. The marriage took place in the year 2006 and the suit was filed in the year 2009. The revisionist moved an application before the court below that her marriage took place in Haryana and both husband and wife are residing at Haryana therefore, the court below has no jurisdiction to entertain the suit. The Additional District Judge, Saharanpur by the impugned order rejected the application.
Learned counsel for the revisionist submitted that his client is ready to settle the dispute.
In view of the above, let the matter be referred to Mediation Centre, High Court, Allahabad.
Issue notice to respondent.
The revisionist as well as respondent are directed to appear on 2.4.2011 before the Mediation Centre, High Court, Allahabad and the Mediation Centre, High Court, Allahabad is directed to give the report as early as possible.
