Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate.
Under challenge in the instant writ petition is F.I.R. relating to Case Crime No. 35 of 2011 under Section 498-A I.P.C., & 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, police station Lalganj, district Pratapgarh.
We have gone through the F.I.R., which discloses commission of cognizable offence, as such, the same cannot be quashed.
The writ petition is misconceived and is accordingly dismissed.
However, it is provided that if petitioner surrenders and moves application for bail, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously by the courts below.
