Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel and perused the record.
After the matter was argued at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners comes up with the prayer that since immovable property of the petitioners is being utilized for the purpose of raising construction of the road and without resorting any acquisition proceedings and without compensation of payment.
In view of the above, we direct that petitioners shall make a representation raising their grievance before the District Magistrate, Moradabad within a period of two weeks from today, which shall be considered and decided by the District Magistrate within a further period of four weeks by a reasoned and speaking order accordance with law.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
