First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, and First Impression

On my first day, I was impressed by the organization’s warm welcome and efficient onboarding process. The infrastructure was modern and well-equipped, setting a positive tone for my experience.

Overall, I had a strong first impression and felt excited and motivated to contribute.

Main Tasks

During my internship, my primary objective was to gain practical exposure to courtroom proceedings and etiquette. Under the guidance of my supervisor, I visited various courtrooms at the Allahabad High Court, observing trials and learning from real-life cases.

She also guided me in reading files, understanding court displays, and navigating the court’s infrastructure. My responsibilities included observing proceedings, noting legal procedures, and developing a deeper understanding of the judicial system.

This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into the workings of the High Court and helped me develop essential skills for a career in law. My supervisor’s mentorship was instrumental in making this experience both informative and enriching.

Work Environment

The work environment during my internship was professional, supportive, and conducive to learning. My supervisor, Mrs. Swati Agrawal Srivastava, fostered a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging me to ask questions and clarify any doubts.

The Allahabad High Court’s infrastructure was impressive, with well-maintained courtrooms and an efficient system. Her office was organized and well-equipped, reflecting her dedication to her work. Throughout my internship, I felt valued and respected, with opportunities to engage in various aspects of legal practice.

The experience was enriching, and I greatly appreciated the guidance and mentorship provided by my supervisor. Overall, the work environment was positive, and I felt motivated to learn and grow.

Good Things about the Internship

Bad Things about the Internship

As a first-year student, I did not face any significant challenges or negative aspects during my internship. One potential area for improvement could be providing more time for hands-on tasks or projects, enabling interns to apply their knowledge more extensively. Nonetheless, my supervisor was highly supportive, and overall, I had an excellent learning experience.

Details about the Accommodation, Commuting to the Office

During my internship, I did not require accommodation arrangements as I was staying with family members in Prayagraj. My supervisor’s office was conveniently located near public transport options, making it easily accessible. I typically took local transport or an auto-rickshaw to reach the office.

The commute was relatively smooth, allowing me to focus on preparing for the day’s tasks and making the most of my internship experience.

Anything else you want to share?

During my internship, I made sure to balance work and leisure. In the evenings, I often played badminton to unwind and refresh my mind, which helped me stay energized and focused throughout the internship.
