- N., R. D., No. 628/49-XIX, dated 18th December, 1953.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Bombay Land Tenures Abolition (Recovery of Records) Act, 1953 (Bombay L of 1953), the Government of Bombay is pleased to make the following Rules
- These rules may be called the Bombay Land Tenures Abolition (Recovery of Records) Rules, 1953.
- (1) Every holder shall, before delivering all the land records in his possession under section 3, arrange them in a chronological order and prepare a list thereof.
(2) The holder shall then deliver all the land records so arranged together with the list to the Collector or the officer appointed under section 3, as the case may be, and make a declaration before such officer that he has no other land records in his possession.
