In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Bombay Bhil Naik Inams Abolition Act, 1955 (Bombay 21 of 1955), the Government of Bombay is pleased to make the following Rules, namely :-

1. Short title.- These Rules may be called the Bombay Bhil Naik Inams Abolition Rules, 1955.
2. Definitions.- In these Rules,-

(a) "Act" means the Bombay Bhil Naik Inams Abolition Act, 1955;

(b) "Form" means a form appended to these Rules;

(c) "Section" means a section of the Act.

3. Period within which the occupancy price under the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 5 is payable.- The occupancy price payable to the State Government under the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 5 shall be paid within a period of five years from the appointed date.
4. Form of application for compensation.- An application for compensation under sub-section (2) of section 7 shall be made in the form hereto appended.
5. Court-fee.- Every appeal under the Act to the Bombay Revenue Tribunal shall bear a court-fee stamp of Rs. 3.
