National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam presents the maiden edition of its “Vox Anatolis National Moot Court Competition.” The Phrase Vox Anatolis means voice of the east. The concept behind introducing this Moot Court Competition is to engage law students across India in a mooting exercise that involves legal issues which are pivotal in the Eastern Part of the Country.This Moot Court Competition will primarily be based on a confluence of Constitutional Law, International Law, Environmental Law and other allied streams. In its maiden edition, the Moot Problem of the Vox Anatolis National Moot Court Competition is based on Constitutional Law, Rights of Refugees, Rights of Indigenous People, Citizenship and other allied themes.

Date and Location

The Moot Court Competition will take place in the campus of National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam, Guwahati from 1st – 3rd March. The maximum number of teams that can take part in this competition is 20, decided on a first come first serve basis.

Eligibility

All students who are either enrolled in a 3-year LLB programme or a 5-year integrated LLB programme shall be eligible to participate in the 1st Vox Anatolis National Moot Court Competition,2019.Only ONE team from a University/Institution will be eligible to participate in the competition.

Team Composition

Each team shall consist of only two speakers and one researcher. The teams may choose to participate without a Researcher, and therefore consist of only two speakers. The teams will be assigned Team Codes by the Organisers.

Registration Fee

The amount needed to be submitted as registration fee is Rs 3000/-. The payment must be done in the form of a Demand Draft in the name of ” The Registrar, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam” payable at Guwahati.
