Rules Regarding Minutes of Council

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (xxxv) of sub-section (2) of Section 355 read with sub-section (2) of Section 62 of the Madhya Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961), and in supersession of all rules previously made on the subject, the State Government hereby makes the following rules, the same having been previously published as required by sub-section (3) of Section 356 of the said Act, namely :-

1. Definition.- In these rules "Section"means a section of the Madhya Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1961.
2. Publication of the minutes of the Council.- The minutes of Council referred to in sub-section (2) of Section 62 shall be published by affixing a copy of such minutes on a notice board outside the municipal office within seven days from the date of the meeting.
3. Rules to be general.- These rules shall be general for all Municipalities.
