Rules Regarding Delegation of Powers by President or Vice President

1. Definition.- In these rules, "Section"means a section of the Madhya Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1961.
2. Delegation of powers.- (1) The President may, by an order in writing, delegate to the Vice-President, all or any of the powers conferred upon him under sub-section (1) of Section 51, and may, by an order in writing, withdraw the powers so delegated.

(2) The delegation by the President of any powers under sub-rule (1) may be made subject to the condition that all or any orders made in pursuance of such delegation shall be subject to the right of revision by the President.

(3) A copy of every order under sub-rule (1) shall be posted on a notice board at the Municipal Office.
