An Act to validate appointments made, costs realised and any other things done or actions taken under the Madhya Bharat Jagir Land Records Management Act, Samvat 2006 (No. 25 of 1949), by the Government and to provide for the matters ancillary thereto

Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Twelfth Year of the Republic of India as follows :

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Jagir Land Records Management (Validation) Act, 1961.
2. Validation of appointments made, costs realised and other things done or action taken by Government under Madhya Bharat Act No. 25 of 1949.- Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Madhya Bharat Jagir Land Records Management Act Samvat 2006 (No. 25 of 1949), or in any judgment, decree or order of any Court, the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Madhya Bharat Gazette and appointments made, costs realised and any other thing done or action taken by the State Government under the said Act on or after its publication in the Madhya Bharat Gazette shall be and shall always be deemed to have been valid and the validity thereof shall not be called into question in any Court merely on the ground that the said Act was not in force at the time such appointment, cost, thing or action was made, realised, done or taken.
3. Repeal.- The Madhya Pradesh Jagir Land Records Management (Validating) Ordinance, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), is hereby repealed.
