Haryana Municipal Octroi Limits Bye-laws, 1976

1. (1) These bye-laws may be called the Haryana Municipal Octroi Limits Bye-laws, 1976.

(2) They shall apply to all the municipalities.

2. The limits for the purposes of collecting octroi on articles imported into a municipality shall be the municipality as notified from time to time.

[Provided that in the case of the municipality of Kalka, the limits for the purpose of collecting octroi shall be municipal limits as notified from time to time, except the area as described below :-

Godowns and weighing bridge located on both sides of the Ambala-Kalka Road near octroi post number 6 comprising Khasra No. 259 to 277, 292/278, 293/278, 309/283, 310/283, 284 and 285 of Mauza Bheron. Ki-Ser].

3. All bye-laws relating to octroi limits in force in municipalities immediately before the commencement of these bye-laws shall stand repealed :

Provided that any order made or action taken under the bye-laws so repealed shall be deemed to have been made or taken under the corresponding provisions of these bye-laws.
