  1. No. 56-M I(8)/30, dated 8th November, 1930. - In pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 151 of the Indian Merchant Shipping Act, 1923 (21 of 1923) and in supersession of all previous orders on the subject, the Governor-General in Council is pleased to [appoint], for the purposes of the said section, the officers specified in the second column of the annexed Schedule at the ports specified respectively in the corresponding entry in the first column thereof:-
