G.S.R. 584(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 81 of the Customs Act, 1962, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations, namely :-
- Short title.- These regulations may be called the Customs Baggage Declaration Regulations, 2013.
- Extent of application.- These regulations shall apply to baggage including any package comprised therein of the passengers coming to India. These regulations will come into effect w.e.f. 1st January, 2014.
- Method of Declaration of Baggage.- [All passengers who come to India and have anything to declare or are carrying dutiable or prohibited goods]shall declare their accompanied baggage in Form 1 appended to this regulation.
