Received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 22nd December, 1986 and was published in the Haryana Gazette, (Extra.) Legislative Supplement, Part I, dated December 26, 1986/Pausa 5, 1908.
An Act to repeal the Haryana Land Holdings Tax Act, 1973.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
- Short title.- This Act may be called the Haryana Land Holdings Tax (Repeal) Act, 1986.
- Repeal and Savings.- The Haryana Land Holdings Tax Act, 1973 (Haryana Act 18 of 1973) is hereby repealed :
Provided that such repeal shall not -
(a) revive anything not in force or existing at the time at which the repeal takes effect; or
(b) affect the previous operation of the enactment so repealed or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or
(c) affect any right, privilege, obligation or lability acquired, accrued or incurred under the enactment so repealed; or
(d) affect any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the enactment so repealed; or
(e) affect any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid;
and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the Haryana Land Holdings Tax Act, 1973, has not been repealed.
- Repeal.- The Haryana Land Holdings Tax (Repeal) Ordinance, 1986 (Haryana Ordinance No. 3 of 1986), is hereby repealed.
