Commercial Courts Act, 2015

 

This Commercial Courts Act has been promulgated by Parliament of India in the year 2016. This Act also aims to provide for the constitution of Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division in the High Courts for adjudicating commercial disputes of specified value and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. This statute has 7 Chapters and 23 Sections. The Chapter includes Constitution of Commercial Courts, Commercial Divisions And Commercial Appellate Divisions, Transfer of Pending Suits, Amendments to the Provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. this act also contains miscellaneous provisions like Power of High Court to issue directions, Training and continuous education, Act to have overriding effect, Collection and disclosure of data by Commercial Courts, Commercial Divisions and Commercial Appellate Divisions.
