August 4,2018:
On Saturday, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot stated that Delhi students can get Learner's Driving License from their College as Government has empowered Directors and Principals of Colleges to issue the document.
He tweeted that,"Young and studying in Delhi? You can soon get your Learner's Driving License from your college itself".
A Learner's Licence is valid for up to six months.
The initiative will help about 2 Lakh students from various Colleges, Polytechnics and ITIs in New Delhi.
