Coordination Committee of All-District Courts Bar Association has decided to call a Strike on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 to protest against the brutal attack on four lawyers at Karkardooma Metro Station Parking lot on Saturday night.
It has been alleged PCR van that reached the spot ran away from the spot a without any intervention, within few minutes.
It has been alleged that when the victim advocates reached Headgevar Hospital for their MLC, the doctors manhandled the Advocates and denied them treatment and MLC was conducted with a delay of two and half hours.
Dhir Singh Kasana, Hon'y Secretary of Saket Court Bar Association stated that, “Four lawyers had some argument with the parking attendants at the metro station near Karkardooma court complex. The parking attendants started assaulting the lawyers and were soon joined by many others in the attack.”
Kasana has stated that,"As per information, over 25 people were involved in the brutal attack on the lawyers who were later rushed to hospital".
He further added that“Though an FIR has been registered and some accused have been arrested but we want the main accused to be arrested and demand that all the Delhi Police personnel who were in the PCR van on both the calls should be suspended for fleeing the spot”.
