BMS said that they will not tolerate Corporate sponsored Labour reforms philosophy.

Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Labour wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, will march to Parliament on November 17 against Narendra Modi government’s anti-economic and anti-farmer policies.

BMS central working committee met at RSS headquarters here on October 6 and 7 and chalked out the strategy for success of the proposed march.

BMS General Secretary Vrijesh Upadhyay stated that organization would attempt at bringing together all the trade unions, including Left-affiliated ones, to join the march.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat had earlier come out openly against the Modi Govt’s Economic Policy in his annual Dussehra address in Nagpur.

But he tempered the criticism with the praise for demonetisation and the GST, Bhagwat made no bones about his concern over impact of these policies on Sangh’s core support base of the small traders, small businessmen and the small farmers.

After two-day meeting, Upadhyay asserted that Modi Government and FM Arun Jaitley have miserably failed to improve economy and instead continued with previous government’s anti-people policies.

He squarely criticized several reform policies, including the labour law reforms, which he claimed were detrimental to interests of labour class.

Existing Labour rights were obtained after a prolonged labour movement in India.

He further added that,“Curtailing the rights of the workers will create friction at ground level and thus will destroy the industrial peace. We will not tolerate the corporate-sponsored labour reforms philosophy”.
