July 27, 2018:
Rohini Court Bar Association, New Delhi has passed a circular barring Law Interns from wearing Black Coats.
The Circular states that,"Law Interns who come to witness the Court proceedings, should not wear Black Coats. They should not sit on the seats allocated for the Advocates".
The Circular states that reason for passing the circular that,"People mistake Law Interns wearing Black Coats as Advocates".
Some Law Interns have termed the decision taken as Arbitrary. They have stated that in the other courts also they are allowed to wear Black Coats.
