Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Dinesh Maheshwari who has been elevated as a Judge of the Supreme Court has made an impact on the country’s IT capital through his judgements.
His love for Bengaluru was reflected in his concern for the city’s development.
“I want Bengaluru to be restored to its true glory,” says Justice Dinesh Maheshwari that this was his dream and a statement that found mention in most of the cases he heard pertaining to the city.
He has issued orders that were aimed at solving some of the issues plaguing the city in a short span of a year.
Be it unauthorized flexes and hoardings, the bad state of storm water drains or the pothole-filled roads.
“I am truly happy that he has been elevated as an SC judge. He was one of the best chief justices we had who took an active interest in the development of the city. If the city looks a little more cleaner today, it is because of him. I wish him the very best,” said Advocate G R Mohan whose PILs have been heard by Justice Dinesh Maheshwari.
