February 02, 2019:

On Saturday, Delhi's Patiala House Court granted interim protection to Robert Vadra from arrest till Feb 16 in a money laundering case.

His Lawyer KTS Tulsi also assured the Court that Vadra will join the ED investigation on Feb 6.

Vadra's close aide Manoj Arora had earlier been granted interim protection from arrest till Feb 6.

The case relates to allegations of Money Laundering in the purchase of a London-based property - located at 12, Bryanston Square- worth 1.9 million pounds, which is allegedly owned by Vadra, the brother-in-law of Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

On Jan 19, the ED had told the court that Arora was cooperating in the probe.

Arora had earlier alleged before the court that the case was foisted on him by the NDA Govt. out of "political vendetta", an allegation denied by the Agency.
