December 19, 2018:

On Wednesday, CBI opposed the bail petition of alleged middleman Christian Michel in Delhi's Patiala House Court.

Michel's lawyer Aljo K Jospeh submitted before the Patiala House court that the middleman was cooperating in the investigation but has become weak.

The CBI court on Saturday, 15 Dec, granted the agency the custody of alleged middleman in AgustaWestland deal Christian Michel for another four days. The CBI had asked for the custody to be extended.

Michel's lawyer Aljo K Jospeh submitted before the Patiala House court that the middleman was cooperating in the investigation. Joseph claimed that Michel has become weak as he was also in custody in Dubai.

Joseph said, "He has become weak since he was also in custody in Dubai for 5 months on CBI's request. We are ready for any condition of bail. You have already granted bail to other accused."

The lawyer also claimed that Michel was suffering from Dyslexia and that he has been asked to write in "cursive" style,

The CBI on Wednesday, 19 Dec, opposed the bail petition of alleged middleman Christian Michel in Delhi's Patiala House Court.

Christian Michel lawyer Rosemary Patrizi told media that she is afraid she will be arrested too and that she is only there to help.

Rosemary Patrizi, Christian Michel's lawyer told media,"I'm afraid they'll arrest me because I know everything about Christian Michel. I hope nothing bad happens to me, I came here to help. I hope I can go back and be at my home on Christmas."

The CBI counsel informed the court that consular access for Christian Michel is already under consideration of Ministry of External Affairs, reported ANI.

The court will hear Christian Michel's bail application next on Wednesday, 19 Dec. The CBI court on Saturday, 15 Dec, extended Michel's custody by four days.

The CBI court on Saturday refused to allow lawyer Rosemary Patrizi to meet Christian Michel, along with Aljo K Joseph, the lawyer representing the alleged middleman.
