July 17, 2018:

Delhi University’s Law Faculty has been embroiled a new controversy as some students have claimed that discrepancies in LLB Entrance Examination marks.

There have been allegations of “All papers of LLM semester exams” being leaked.

University has announced that it will conduct Re-examination of one paper on July 20. Members of ABVP have claimed “massive cheating in all the papers”.

On Monday, ABVP alleged “Corruption” by Senior officials at Law Faculty and demanded a highlevel inquiry.

In a memorandum submitted to Proctor’s office, ABVP claimed discrepancies in LLB Entrance Exam, citing complaints by several students at their respective centres.

An official of Examination Dept. of Delhi University, dismissed the allegations stating that,“there were some complaints but nothing suggests that there was cheating of an epidemic level”.

ABVP has alleged that Admission list “had discrepancies in marks as many students complained that the papers were evaluated wrongly”.

Prof Ved Kumari,Dean of Law Faculty stated that,“We found only one paper to be leaked and have suspended an official for the same.”

Examination Department stated that an Inquiry would be set up in the matter soon.
