After Kanwariyas Vandalism video goes Viral, Delhi Police nabs the ‘Criminal’ Kanwariya who went on Rampage in National Capital

After outrage of Kanwariyas indulging in Hooliganism in National Capital Delhi in presence of Police, the Delhi Police got into action and has within 48 hours arrested a 26-year-old ‘Kanwariya’ with a criminal past was arrested on Thursday for going on Rampage and Destroying a car involved in a minor accident in West Delhi’s Moti Nagar.

Vijay Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) stated that,”Rahul alias Billa, a Resident of west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, is an unemployed man with no education”.

He further added that,”Rahul was out on bail in a theft case registered in 2014. He had spent six-seven months in jail back then”.

On Tuesday, he and other kanwariyas had vandalised a Hyundai i10 car, driven by a 25-year-old woman, in Moti Nagar after it “accidentally” brushed one of Kanwariyas.

Incident was captured on camera, and showed the culprits brutally assaulting the car, having brought the traffic to a halt. Two police officers are seen walking towards them and enquiring about the matter.
